This one website i just found was having a t-shirt design contest for the new batman, I didn't submit because it doesn't fit the dark theme I think they wanted. That, and these are public splatters, I have not made my own yet.

Check out the watercolor work I've done, your idea is right I just don't think your execution is great, like the big purple spot on the bottom left of the wing.
